We’re looking for a **Manager, Responsible Sourcing Operations Standards & Strategy** to lead initiatives that reduce environmental impact and promote ethical sourcing practices across our operations here at VF. **What You’ll Do** Under general direction, you will: + Provide research, writing, and analytical input for corporate sustainability programs and projects. + Monitor trends in environmental science, renewable resources, and sustainable work processes. + Plan, implement, and maintain sustainability programs that reduce reliance on nonrenewable resources and minimize operational environmental impact. **What You Bring** + Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.(Equivalent experience may be considered based on role and hiring criteria.) + Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Proficient in PC and data analysis tools. **Your Skills & Expertise** + Recognized expert in sustainability or responsible sourcing, with deep domain knowledge. + Able to assess complex or conflicting data and recommend innovative approaches. + Skilled in integrating and communicating technical information across diverse teams. **Problem Solving & Decision Making** + Resolve varied and related issues using advanced analytical techniques. + Apply judgment and interpretation to devise solutions with long-term impact. + Anticipate future challenges and adapt strategies accordingly. **Collaboration & Communication** + Communicate complex sustainability concepts to non-expert audiences. + Adapt messaging for multicultural and cross-functional teams. + Use persuasion and resourcefulness to gain buy-in and drive change. **Your Impact** + Contribute to short- and medium-term sustainability goals. + Influence team and departmental performance through personal effort and collaboration. + Help shape the organization’s responsible sourcing strategy and outcomes. **Accountability** + Responsible for achieving individual targets that support broader sustainability and sourcing objectives. + Work is independently managed and reviewed at key milestones.
