About the Role
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the requirements management team, ensuring alignment with strategic project goals, and fostering a high-performance culture. The People Manager will lead the definition and execution of the requirements management strategy, mentor team members, and serve as the primary interface with stakeholders and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of requirement management engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.Define and implement the requirements management strategy across multiple projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure requirements alignment.Oversee process definition, tool configuration, and infrastructure setup.Monitor KPIs and ensure continuous improvement in requirements processes.Drive change management and ensure compliance with industry standards.Represent the team in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning.What You Need
Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.Expert knowledge of requirements managementGood knowledge of embedded software and systemExcellent knowledge of RFI/RFQ processKnowledge of Requirements Management Tool “Doors Next Generation”, “DOORS”, and Doors exchange mechanismConfiguration management rules and tools especially baseliningKnowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®)Strong knowledge on SW and HW architectures and Mobile Wireless Technology (DSPs, ARM, Memories, Multicore processing, WiFi, 5G, 4G/LTE, 3G, CDMA, 2G, Bluetooth) and/or Infotainment Technology (Navigation system, Digital TV, ETC system, Drive recorder, Mirroring, rear seat entertainment) and/or Car Audio Technology (Speaker, AMP, Subwoofer, etc..)Ability to communicate advanced and complex concepts and ideas persuasively and concisely to all levels of the business.Fluent communication skills in English and JapaneseExperience working with or for a Japanese automotive supplier / carmakerWhat Makes You Eligible
