As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will lead a dedicated team of quality professionals, driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing robust quality management systems. On a given day, you may: Lead the development and implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) independent of the whether the company opts to achieve certification. Identify an appropriate transition to first accomplish quality assurance of incoming and outgoing product, followed by other quality improvements in the operation that will assist us with efficiency and ultimately cost. Achieves quality assurance by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, and implementing production quality checks. Achieves product quality assurance by identifying critical control points and preventive measures in conjunction with manufacturing and assembly; establishing critical tolerances and limits in conjunction with engineering; and works to develop processes for verification of both incoming and outgoing product against purchase order requirements. Chairs the Quality Task Force, an ad hoc quality assurance team that meets once per week to review and remedy product quality assurance issues via a Corrective and Preventative Action Report (CPAR) process. Investigate customer quality complaints and support immediate corrective action to minimize lost production and field tech frustration. Funnel appropriate issues through the QTF for root cause and preventative action. Identifies and analyzes improvement opportunities to the management team. Identifies KPIs to help the organization measure the cost of poor quality and the impact of quality improvements. Responsible for the overall operation and control of quality inspection throughout the organization. Directly supervises the quality inspectors. Collaborate with other members of management to test new product and engineering designs, as well as manufacturing and training methods. Maintains and improves product quality assurance by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits as necessary. Is a member of the Bevcorp management team and participates in management reviews (monthly). Other duties as assigned by management. What we are looking for: Bachelors Degree in related fields Advanced ability to use various inspection tools such as: micrometers, calipers, and thread plug/ring, pin, height, and bore gauges. Familiarity with comparators and CMMs. Advanced math skills. High level of experience with various computer applications such as Microsoft Suite, ERP Systems, the Internet, etc. 2-3 years of successfully overseeing the operations of an inspection and/or quality department preferred. High level of attention to detail. Ability to use sound judgment regarding safety. A high level of professionalism and emotional intelligence. Ability to promote a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively in all levels of sensitive situations. Goal oriented. Exceptional communication skills.
