Manager, Property and Catastrophe

We are recruiting for a Manager, Property and Catastrophe to join our team in Canada. 

The supervisor of the catastrophe adjusting team will be responsible for managing resources across Canada, with a dedicated focus on development, implementation, training/mentoring, promotion and performance management of Catastrophe Services, protocols and programs.

Minimum 7 years residential property claims experience is required, with 2-3 years of past supervisory experience. Ability to obtain full Ontario adjusting license is required, multiple provincial licenses is preferred CIP or FCIP designation is an asset  A flexible team player with effective management and organizational skills. A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills. Excellent communication and human relation skills. Ability to organize multiple priorities.  Frequent departmental and organizational interaction including all leadership levels and front-line employees (internal and contract).  External and internal communications as required. Availability for extensive national and periodic international travel plus valid driver’s license.  Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Teams, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.    Proficiency with the following is an asset: All Crawford Operational processes and procedures  All Partnership programs Xactanalysis / Xactimate, Symbility, Crawford platforms and technologies, internal and client systems,  Availability for extensive national and periodic international travel plus valid driver’s license. Some travel outside of home province and outside of Canada may be required.  National CAT Program Management: Assist with development, implementation, training, mentoring, statistical analysis, compliance, performance and quality reviews. Formalize CAT plans with clients working with leadership and internal stakeholders. Establish, manage, and execute pricing and compensation strategies. Assist/provide input on CAT marketing and presentations.  Streamline national CAT revenue schemes.  Manage Xactanalysis and Symbility tools, provide Xactimate training and manage system access/password reset. Increase competency among CAT roster resources.  Recruit additional CAT resources within branch network and with Workforce Advantage. Manage and maintain ODA roster Develop standard rules of engagement for adjusters deployed and modify as need be. National Catastrophe Management: Front line management at CAT site and assistive role to resource customer mandated response, deployment, needs assessment and quality standards. International Catastrophe: Site management / leadership and / or leadership of Crawford team and / or CAT adjusting duties, on a per event basis and upon agreement with the Operations VP. Relationship with Crawford CAT Management Teams in other countries. Attending conferences, liaise on training and industry standards for streamline implementation during deployment.
