Join the Tort Litigation team to support case managers and leadership advising the Company about legal rights, obligations and risks while developing litigation strategies to respond to legal issues and reduce costs for the Company. Project Managers for the Litigation department play an important role in mitigating corporate risk by ensuring consistent implementation of company policies and practices, collaborating with cross functional teams.What you'll do...Provide support to attorneys and legal staff by managing legal processes; receive and review requests for information; and collect, enter, and maintain legal information in various legal systems.Coordinate with outside counsel, witnesses, and internal subject matter experts; provide status updates on legal processes and responding to questions about legal matters.Help maintain, operationalize, and update standard operating procedures and best practices on various legal processes including legal discovery and Company systems and access.Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of general and specific legal areas, particularly in the tort practice area.Ensure that attorneys are aware of pending deadlines, assisting with budgeting and invoice review.Prepare and maintain various reports to inform Tort team of critical substantive, procedural and case management information.Assist the Tort team in gathering information for and preparing quarterly reports to Company leadership regarding Tort portfolio.Assist the Tort team with compliance management by preparing reports and analyzing data to inform team on issues including Medicare, payee, insurance, systems, and financial compliance issues.Assist Tort leadership with identifying goals and metrics for improving the team’s overall performance.Partner with claims management and risk analytics teams to manage overlapping systems and processes and ensure Tort team follows established processes and communication channels.Learn all Tort systems, trackers, and databases to provide support to case managers and professional staff, including WMMS, ClearSight, QuickBase and Tableau. Serve as a liaison with company claims management and data/analytics teams on system issues.Develop and update Tort operational manuals and identifying opportunities for improvement. Recommend Tort case portfolio realignments within the team when needed.Audit outside law firms for spend, case resolution and outcomes.Provide backup support for professional staff on Tort team as needed.Assist with data and case management by entering, compiling, organizing and maintaining case data and information in various computer systems.Maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive information, data and communications.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
