Manager, Program Management, RBS Cross Border Program

Amazon's Cross Border business provides customers access to Amazon’s worldwide selection with a localized search and browse experience, convenient local payment options, end-to-end delivery solutions and access to native customer service on the local Amazon marketplace. Cross Border business simplifies the cross border shopping process by clearing customs on the customer’s behalf and by guaranteeing that the customer will not have to pay any additional duties and import fees beyond what is shown at checkout. RBS Cross Border team’s vision is to empower customers to “Stay Local, Shop Global” with an objective to improve cross border customer experience and maximize the revenue potential of cross border ASINs by fixing cross-listing, Buyability, discoverability and detail page conversion defects at scale. In 2025, RBS Cross Border team is establishing a new charter for cross border expansion in non-footprint countries (where Amazon has no direct retail presence), to enable customers to access our unique selections through their preferred shopping experiences.

RBS Cross Border team is looking for a Manager, Program management to lead the global access expansion in non-footprint countries as Single Threaded Leader (STL).

As a Manager, program manager in this role, you will:

• Lead strategic initiatives to drive destination stores growth and manage the ASIN journey on destination stores, starting with increasing local customer resonating selection on destination stores, extending to improving selection productivity, store operation as well as post-buying experience.
• Define the program strategy, roadmap and identify key opportunities to drive destination stores growth.
• Communicate effectively to senior Leaders (L8) about program roadmap, progress, hot debate topics and support needed.
• Build effective partnership cross-functionally with Cross Border Central teams, destination teams and RBS internal teams.
• Lead team to build scalable solutions to address the customer and business problems in partnership with tech teams.
• Lead a team of various roles, e.g. Program manager, Subject Matter Experts, Business Analytics, Research Analytics and operation.

A successful candidate will be an exceptional strategic thinker and will have exposure to customer experience improvement. Key skills for the role include an extraordinary ability to deal with ambiguity, to network effectively and influence partner teams without authority, to overcome unforeseen obstacles, and a passion for developing scalable solutions.


Key job responsibilities
• Responsibility for defining and driving functional/business goals.
• Forming and managing cross-functional project teams to drive key programs for our customers.
• Building a data-oriented culture, adoption of technology solutions and process improvement projects to achieve business goals.
• Solving Business problems using technology and liaise with the technology and operational teams in identifying use cases/requirements, implementing sustainable solutions and scaling them effectively to support Defect elimination.
• Managing stakeholder communication across multiple lines of business on various project milestones, process changes, escalations, etc.
• Designing and developing relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Ensuring high quality standards for interviewing and hiring employees at all levels of the organization.
• Owning specific people programs on coaching and development and team engagement.
• Provide ad-hoc support and analysis to senior leaders on strategy documents and research requests.
