Job Title: Manager, Product Development
About the Role:
Are you passionate about creating innovative products and influencing meaningful business solutions? Do you want to develop and commercialize new beverages for North America in the Sparkling and Alcohol Ready to Drink (aRTD) categories? Do you like working on iconic brands like Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Fanta? Are you interested in building new brands like Topo Chico Hard Seltzer or Simply Spiked? As a Manager, Product Development, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and improving products and technologies that drive business growth and align with our commitment to quality. You will lead projects from concept to commercialization, partnering with cross-functional teams while navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment to deliver results that matter.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Innovation & Development:
Lead the design and development of new products, taking concepts from bench to commercialization, while meeting cost, quality, and label claim requirements.Evaluate and implement new ingredients, assess nutritional profiles, conduct product and packaging stability testing, and execute pilot plant trials.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a technical, regulatory, and quality expert, responding to inquiries from Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory, Quality, and other departments.Influence decision-making as the RDI representative on cross-functional teams to drive timely project delivery within scope and budget.Research & Problem Solving:
Drive innovation by leading technical research, analyzing data, and interpreting results through all stages of experimentation.Identify and execute opportunities for product/process improvement and cost savings.Documentation & System Management:
Manage ingredient and product specifications, including formula entry into the formula management system, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and regulatory compliance.Design, organize, and maintain technical and regulatory records for easy access and secure storage.Strategic Leadership:
Partner with Brand and Global Category Teams to build and prioritize a robust product pipeline aligned with business objectives.Stay ahead of industry trends in science, technology, and nutrition to ensure competitive advantage.Share insights and solutions to help improve efficiency, effectiveness, and project impact.Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Advanced degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred; bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience considered.Experience: 5+ years of product development experience, with a background in launching products preferred. Food and beverage industry experience (especially global) is a plus.Technical Expertise: Strong competency in flavors, food ingredients, processing, packaging, nutrition, and stability testing. Proven ability to execute end-to-end product development.Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated success in working across functional teams and influencing stakeholders to drive results.Innovation-Driven: Ability to solve complex problems and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.Digital tools: Experience managing digital tools and performing data analysis to find solutions based on fact e implement new solutions.What We Offer You:

$109,000 - $129,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
