The Job
The Manager, Primary Research will support the Market Insights and Games Research team in collaborating with internal Brand Marketing, Production, Studio development teams, and external vendors to execute the full research process from initial scoping to report generation and synthesize insights from various data secondary sources. The role involves coordinating with various teams to align research objectives and supporting the integration of insights into project milestones.
Responsibilities:
Support the creation, execution, analysis, and reporting of research projects across a diverse portfolio of games to meet key milestones and deadlines.
Bring ideas to translate brand, marketing, and business objectives into addressable research studies.
Execute on various parts of the planning and execution across phases of the market research process including: RFP development, questionnaire writing, data collection, survey programming & testing, data collection, and accurate delivery of data tables/reports, presentation of final results and recommendations.
Analyze and synthesize research findings into key insights and develop innovative approaches to data analysis.
Work alongside the Market Insights and Research team to drive insightful takeaways by leveraging multiple sources including primary, secondary, syndicated, industry, social, internal, and external dashboards.
Ensure the seamless delivery of projects through each phase including partner onboarding and contracts, data files, data tables, reports, and video files, if applicable.
Qualification & Skills:
4+ years of experience in market research (agency-side preferred)
Previous experience in consumer insights, market research, or a similar role within the gaming or entertainment industry.
Proficiency in research methodologies, survey design, and data analysis.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills for effectively sharing insights with stakeholders.
Superior Office365 skills – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word should be your best friends
Familiarity with tools and software used in market research and data analysis, such as survey platforms, data visualization tools, SPSS, Toluna Start
Knowledge of data visualization techniques and how to creatively showcase data most compellingly.
Analytical mindset with a natural curiosity about the consumer, enthusiastic about interpreting research findings and generating actionable recommendations.
Nimble and self-motivated; adept at prioritizing and managing multiple projects independently.
A passion for precision and attention to detail is a must.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $115,500.00 - $214,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
