Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
The Manager, Planning and Control will be responsible for preparing and updating information on the portfolio of projects and programs that directly feed the SVP of Content Development (series, docs and novelas), and consequently leverage the area’s relationship with Production, Business, Programming, Bala and Comms/Mktg areas.
Responsibilities:
+ Monitor the progress of the portfolio across all channels (Linear and 3rd parties) by seeking information from the Development (Scripted and Non-scripted) and Production areas, according to the approved program phases.
+ Ensure the alignment of information with the planning of the Programming and Production areas.
+ Develop portfolio monitoring materials to present at board meetings, including status reports and program indicators.
+ Schedule meetings to align program premises with the Creators, Development, and Production directorate to formalize demand entry and initiate the approval simulation process. Maintain governance of meetings between Development/Production and Creators, ensuring updates are communicated internally for decision-making.
+ Structure the strategic materials on demand for other company areas and manage internal knowledge by organizing content in a shared folder for team access and future reference.
+ Govern processes linked to the program pipeline. Keep the delivery rule updated with the planning areas of the program, design and maintain updated processes derived from the Budget Governance: Structure the budget cycle planning for the Content Development Area and participate in the preparation of the budget presentation in alignment with the Finance area.
Basic Requirements:
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience working in areas such as production or development for scripted and unscripted programming in US and other parts of LATAM.
+ More than 2 years of experience managing projects or large-scale programs.
+ Broad knowledge and experience in process design and continuous improvement.
+ Comprehensive understanding and experience in project portfolio management.
+ Prior experience in data analysis and planning modeling.
+ Strong planning, priority setting, and organizational skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication abilities.
+ Proven track record of delivering value to the organization with a result-oriented approach.
+ Critical thinking and disciplined approach, with a solid understanding of finance governance.
+ Fluency in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in Portuguese is preferred.
+ Adept at presentation design.
+ Experience in cross-cultural environments is advantageous.
+ Willingness to travel on short notice and during weekends.
+ Flexibility to work late hours and accommodate last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.

Additional Requirements:
+ + Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
