The Manager, Planning leads Primal Kitchen’s planning strategy across demand, supply, deployment, and production. This role is responsible for driving forecast accuracy, optimizing service levels, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Manager builds and develops a high-performing planning team, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and partners with senior leadership to deliver data-driven solutions that balance service and cost objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Lead planning strategy across demand, supply, deployment, and production to drive forecast accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of planners; provide training, clear performance metrics, and regular feedback while fostering a culture of accountability and growth. Drive S&OP process excellence, ensuring alignment between commercial forecasts and operational capabilities. Establish and monitor key performance metrics across all planning functions; implement data-driven solutions to address gaps and improve accuracy. Partner with senior leadership to provide visibility into planning challenges and opportunities, recommending strategic solutions that balance service and cost objectives. Oversee the development and continuous improvement of planning processes, systems, and tools. Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support business objectives and new product launches. Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction. Prepare and present regular reports and insights to executive leadership. Partner with Kraft Heinz operations teams to develop best-in-class planning function that is optimized for the unique go-to-market of Primal Kitchen.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to all direct reports. Set clear goals and performance expectations; conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and development planning. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new planning team members. Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ensure alignment of individual and team objectives with broader business goals.Recipe for Success:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or related roles within the CPG or food industry. Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams. Deep understanding of S&OP processes and supply chain optimization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP preferred). Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$102,100.00 – $127,600.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
