Manager, Patient Recruitment - FSP

Job Purpose:

Parexel is seeking a Manager, Patient Recruitment to join our dynamic FSP team. This role will be key in the strategic development and execution of patient recruitment and retention efforts across multiple global programs. 

The primary role is leading the development and execution of a patient focused patient recruitment and retention global strategic program.   

Key Responsibilities:

Develops and executes innovative global patient recruitment and retention strategies, including branding, patient and healthcare professional awareness, social and digital outreach and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiativesLead initiatives to establish data driven tactics to ensure successful patient recruitment enrollment and retention and site/patient engagement throughout the duration of the clinical trialPartners with internal and external key stakeholders (Clinical Operations, Patient Advocacy, Clinical Trial Transparency and Data Sharing, and CRO) to enhance the patient journey from initial contact to study completionManages the development and implementation of global patient and site engagement plansCollaborates with cross-functional internal teams to bring the patient voice into clinical trial designs and patient-facing materials, including identification of potential barriers to recruitment and retentionLeads the identification, selection and oversight of the recruitment and retention vendorsMentors junior level staffAbility to present and travel occasionally to global and regional team meetings, site visits, conferences, and Investigator Meetings 10-20%

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industryExperience in developing global patient recruitment and retention strategies and program implementation at a sponsor or patient recruitment agencyExperience providing oversight of CROs/vendors and managing budgets and timelinesComprehensive regulatory knowledge, including ICH and GCPsPatient Recruitment experience developing and creating materials (i.e. writing copy, working with the design teams, developing toolkits).Knowledge of global clinical trial management in a fast-paced environmentExperience with rare disease / difficult to recruit populations a plusAbility to work Eastern Time zone hoursBachelor’s Degree required
