Responsibilities

Responsible for the creation, implementation & oversight of the Patient Access training/education program. Develops and implements training opportunities to support the business.Works collaboratively across Health Ministry departments to identify gaps in performance, recommend action plans, implement new workflows & establish written protocols and procedures. Coordinates with department leadership to audit colleague performance/ accuracy, identify error trends & identify training opportunities. Identifies process issues and performance gaps within individual HMs, recommends action plans & identifies improvement opportunities that will lead to revenue gains.Collaborates with Health Ministry (HM) management, & Revenue Excellence Training and Deployment teams to prepare software implementation, resolution of post go-live training and system issues & implement and oversee the function’s new employee orientation training program and career development for existing colleagues.Works collaboratively with Health Ministry and Trinity Health leadership teams to develop, implement & maintain a comprehensive Patient Access Training program.Responsible for ongoing curriculum development, documentation, updates, and housing of standardized training documents, protocols & procedures for multiple HMs.Manages training program services which includes instructor led classroom training, WebEx virtual training and eLearning modalities.Oversight of local Health Ministry training specialists to ensure all Patient Access colleagues exhibit general competencies in the use of legacy HIS systems, revenue cycle software applications& organizational, State & Federal regulatory rules and processes. Manages health ministry Patient Access training specialists and employee life cycle

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Education, Learning & Development, Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education & / or experience.Three (3) to Five (5) years of leadership experienceFive (5) years of relevant experience in Revenue CycleObtain national certification in HFMA CHFP, CRCR, or NAHAM CHAM required within one (1) year of hire.

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

Knowledge of adult learning techniques.

Pay Range: $79,248-111,696

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
