Based in Emerson's Asia Pacific, Malaysia, you will lead Parts Quote team and drive strategies to grow Parts business for Flow Controls across Asia Pacific. You will also collaborate with channel/direct sales offices, operations, supply chain and Global parts business unit to drive parts growth plans.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Lead & manage a team of parts quote specialist, drive important metric and develop a positive and collaborative team environment Oversee Quote turn around, accuracy, competitiveness and review complex / high value quotes. Collaborate with sales offices to increase order conversion hit rates Find opportunities to improve quote process, efficiency and accuracy. Implement tools or software that enhance the quoting process and improve team productivity. Collaborate with supply chain and operations to continuously improve availability and delivery lead time of spare parts to market.  Implement Global pricing methods & tools to price parts, train & develop team members and collaborate with Global Pricing team to implement price strategies. Work closely with Parts Operations to ensure smooth collaboration and the timely booking of orders to meet monthly POR Monitor and report on important metric, drive improvement actions, conduct regular team performance and develop strategies for improvement. Update Sales Management with quote trends, improvement actions and support required to meet or exceed goals Ensure effective communication between the quoting team and internal collaborators, including sales and operations Provides training and support skill development of sales channels & collaborators involved

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering is preferred Must be proficient in English  Eight (8) years minimum experience in sales, project & order management environment in the valve industry Understanding of order engineering, parts pricing, manufacturing and supplier capability Effective communication and influencing skills  Experience working with matrix organization.
