About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, this position will work in concert with the Plant Manager(s) to execute the Operational Excellence strategy: implement and support a sustainable operating structure, drive cadence of continuous improvement with implementation of tools and business processes, build and leverage data driven tools, implement process improvement methodologies (ex. Kaizen), increase profitability and optimize operating performance to meet customer lead-time demands.
Responsibilities:
Experienced leader with a hands-on approach and mentality to drive actionSpearhead continuous improvement initiatives throughout manufacturing that drive efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks and drive overall operational performanceCollaborate across departments to optimize processes, implement lean principles and drive culture of excellenceUtilize experience implementing manufacturing operating systems to build-deploy-optimize site operations Deploy and support Operational Excellence best practices, such as daily management, standard work, 5S workplace organization and effective problem solvingImplement and leverage data collection tools to drive a data driven approach to problem solving, focus/facilitate tools (ex. Kaizen, SMED, etc.) and incorporation into daily standard workSupport Action Plan culture of identification-analysis-action-accountability Leverage experience in high-volume automated manufacturing processes and strong analytical/problem solving skills in daily activitiesSet benchmarking and continuous improvement targetsSupport site harmonization and flexibility to maximize asset utilization, reduce risk and optimize overall performanceFacilitates Kaizen events within the site and provides guidance on the Kaizen processCross-functional capability with ability to think/work holisticallyExperience in driving change, implementing new strategies, and adapting to evolving scenarios.Ability to adapt to changing conditions and handle high-pressure situations (Flexibility)About You:
