What we want The Multimedia Production Manager, under direction, plans, manages, develops and oversees all SEC Network broadcasts to ESPN Platforms from 12th Man Productions and Texas A&M. Qualifications Required Education and Experience + Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Five years of related experience in control rooms and/or live video production, including some related supervisory experience. + Experience Producing and Directing live events Preferred Qualifications + In-Stadium, Big Screen video board experience Non-Linear editing skills utilizing AVID software. + Knowledge of graphics creation software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects). + Television production skills (Electronic News Gathering - ENG) experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Experience producing and editing broadcast-quality television productions (live and pre-production) Extensive non-linear editing experience Broadcast ENG operational skills Graphics creation skills. Video Camera Operation skills. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. + Ability to work outdoors exposed to various weather conditions, potential allergens, elevated noise levels, and heat + Ability to manage video production assignments and quality control aspects in regard to final approvals for public publishing. The position will require sports event coverage and television production as assigned, requiring frequent nights, weekends and holidays to fulfill assigned duties. Travel is required to cover assigned sports. Responsibilities Video Production and Editing + Plans and facilitates studio, field-based, and live video production including camera operation, editing, set and lighting design, and audio production. Works with Engineering staff to make technical decisions on appropriate control room gear, camera placement, and best live event practices for Texas A&M. + Makes technical decisions on appropriate lighting, shooting angle, placement, and type of microphone. + Edits and assembles final visual/audio materials. + Ensures consistency and monitors technical quality of end products. + Creates videos suitable for multiple media outlets, including web and mobile devices. Equipment and Staff Oversight + Develop, prepare, and manage the department’s annual budget. + Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Works as liaison and main contact for Texas A&M with ESPN and the SEC Network + Supervises 2 full time broadcast staff members + Manages, with assistance, broadcast student staff of over 75 Resource Management and Scheduling + Balances creative requirements with schedules, budgets, and resource limitations. Manages and schedules broadcast announcers for all Texas A&M broadcasts + Meets post-production goals and deadlines. Leads training, scheduling, and assigning for all broadcast events Video Asset Organization + Organizes and maintains video assets. Compliance + Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication. Why Texas A&M University?
