American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes, with small business being the largest customer segment. The Global Commercial Services Marketing team (GCSM) is responsible for making business membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. GCSM markets a breadth of products across charge, lending, co-brand, and corporate cards. It is also offers a range of small business banking and B2B solutions.
As the Manager, Marketing Contractor Program Office, you will own the end-to-end strategy, operations, and performance oversight of the Marketing Operations Analyst (MOA) program. This includes managing vendor relationships, driving workforce planning, and ensuring readiness, quality, and scale across the MOA population. You’ll serve as the central point of leadership and coordination across internal teams, vendor partners, and MOA leaders, ensuring the program runs with operational rigor and delivers consistent, high-impact results. This role is critical to enabling enterprise marketing execution and aligning talent to the most pressing marketing needs with speed and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Lead vendor relationships in partnership with Global Sourcing & Marketing (GSM), establish consistent contract terms, and act as the primary escalation point between MOA leaders and vendor contacts. Serve as a strategic advisor to capability and marketing teams, aligning MOA staffing with evolving business needs, managing turnover, and supporting pathways for conversion to FTE where appropriate. Oversee the MOA candidate pipeline in coordination with vendor partners, streamline interview processes, and ensure all new hires are fully set up for success from Day 1. Define and manage performance KPIs across the MOA population, facilitate regular touchpoints with team leaders, and address trends or challenges to ensure program excellence and accountability. Lead the MOA Program Office strategy, ensuring structure, governance, and best practices are embedded across the entire MOA lifecycle. Champion continuous improvement and alignment across internal stakeholder groups.What we are looking for:

Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant years of experience in program management, operations, marketing strategy, or workforce planning Experience managing or influencing external vendors or staffing partners Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to drive alignment across senior stakeholders Experience designing scalable programs and frameworks in fast-paced, matrixed environments Proven track record of improving operational effectiveness and driving accountability across distributed teamsSalary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
