As a Manager, Market Research and Insights supporting the Vision Care OTC Marketing team, you will be trusted to work on gathering, analyzing, and interpreting marketplace trends and customer data as input to marketing and product development strategies/plans for individual consumers, business customers, and/or retail channels at Fort Worth, TX office.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Monitoring market conditions, trends, competitors, etc. to project business sector/consumer demand and inform product launch timing Researching competitor behavior including marketing strategies, pricing, sales and methods of operationIdentifying purchasing behaviors, price/discount sensitivity, brand loyalty, etc. across customer segments and sales channelsSimulating the impact of proposed marketing campaigns and measuring results against targetsAnalyze multiple data sources (sales data, brand trackers, etc.) in support of OTC initiativesPartner with IT, Commercial Ops, Data Science to build, maintain and report key insights from OTC data lakeBecome expert-level user of POS data supplier’s portal, eventually becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trainer of other marketers on how to become proficient in the portalCollaborate with cross functional teams to align on and communicate KPI’sIdentify ways to improve process, discover issues and deliver better value to the customerSupport monthly forecasting activity (B3) for various businessesBuild monthly review decks to help leadership understand market trends and latest outlookTrack monthly actuals versus established targetsMaintain and optimize reporting on existing marketing initiativesSupport primary research initiatives and analysis of annual Brand Health trackers and Marketing Mix Model across OTC brandsDevelop deep dive analytics capabilities for Consumer Panel surveys and other research initiatives

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs., Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.) The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English5 Years of Relevant Experience
