As a manager, you'll work as part of a team of Go to Market, Technology, Transition and Operate problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. This position is responsible for providing our client companies best-in-class service and financial expertise.
This position is accountable for the successful development and execution of Managed Services pursuits, assessment, transition, and operations activities. Additionally, the Manager acts as a strategic business advisor by providing in-depth analysis and insights to their clients based on their knowledge of current business trends and extensive industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of Managed Services Pursuits, Assessment, Transition, and Operations activities.Design and implement complex dashboards and data models to support advanced operational and financial reporting, KPI tracking, and strategic insights.Leverage tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx to build scalable, automated solutions, demonstrating expert-level proficiency.Serve as a primary trusted advisor on complex outsourced CFO/Controllership and management consulting engagements, providing strategic guidance.Collaborate extensively with senior client stakeholders and internal teams to translate intricate business requirements into robust technical solutions. This includes leading client engagement from initial discussions, data collection, transition, and execution.Prepare and deliver high-quality, executive-level presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and strategic roadmaps to C-suite audiences.Identify, design, and implement significant process improvements across core finance functions: FP&A, close consolidation, reporting, budgeting, etc., driving impactful change.Contribute to Go-to-Market and practice growth efforts through strategic proposal development, thought leadership, and actively mentoring and developing junior and mid-level team members.Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients.Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related field required (Master's preferred).CPA, CFA, or consulting certifications (e.g., PMP) are a significant plus.Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in finance transformation, financial consulting, or management consulting roles, with demonstrated leadership.Demonstrates proven extensive-level abilities advising global organizations on organizational structures and talent strategies including: Shared Service Centers; Business Process Outsourcing; Centers of Excellence; Digital Upskilling; Performance Management; BPO selection, contracting, transition, and measurement.Extensive knowledge of Finance and Accounting leading practices, industry-specific knowledge of global trends, and contribution to the development of thought leadership.Deep management consulting and delivery experience in target operating model transformation and development for Captive and Outsourced models, including leading complex implementations.Expert-level familiarity with Microsoft Power BI (required); strong working knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, or similar tools.Strong understanding of advanced finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and complex reporting cycles, with the ability to optimize these processes.Strong project management skills including, advanced tool and template creation, comprehensive project planning and oversight, proactive risk management, and executive client reporting.Extensive hands-on experience designing and building sophisticated data visualizations and dashboards for complex finance or operational use cases.Ability to strategically work across cross-functional teams, translating complex finance needs into technical solutions and guiding implementation.Proven experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders, preparing executive-level decks, and leading client-facing engagements.Extensive experience leveraging multiple data gathering strategies and analytical thinking to challenge the status quo, develop insights and innovative solutions, and solve complex business problems.Proven record of developing strategies, transformation roadmaps, and executing change to achieve business outcomes.Process improvement experience across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting, and Financial Reporting (internal and external).Demonstrates experience with common Finance and Accounting technology applications and other emerging technology solutions.Extensive experience with organization design, talent management and shared services & outsourcing.Experience with data and chart of accounts design to enhance analytics, reporting and decision support.Proven communication skills (verbal and written) to convey complex messages in a simple, straightforward way that drives transparency and trust.Demonstrates experience cultivating and sustaining senior client relationships and supporting sales and proposal efforts.Supervise global teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage collaboration and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely, meaningful feedback.The compensation range for this role is $84,350 to $159,920. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
