The LMS Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of Family Dollar’s Learning Management System. This role ensures the LMS is effectively supporting training delivery, compliance tracking, and learner engagement. The LMS Manager collaborates with instructional designers, IT, HR, and business units to deliver seamless and scalable learning experiences.
Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of the LMS, including user accounts, course uploads, system configurations, and troubleshootingEnsure data integrity, system security, and compliance with organizational policiesUpload, organize, and maintain digital learning content (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, videos, documents)Support instructional designers and trainers in deploying and updating coursesProvide technical support and training to LMS users, including learners, instructors, and administratorsDevelop user guides, FAQs, and training materials for LMS navigation and usage.Generate and analyze reports on learner progress, course completion, and system usageProvide insights to stakeholders to inform learning strategy and compliance trackingCollaborate with IT and vendors to implement system updates, integrations (e.g., HRIS, CRM), and new featuresEvaluate and recommend tools and enhancements to improve the learning experienceEnsure training records meet regulatory and organizational compliance standardsConduct regular audits and testing to maintain system performance and accuracy
Minimum Requirements/QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Information Systems, or related field3–5 years of experience managing an LMS (Workday preferred)Strong understanding of eLearning standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI), instructional design principles and adult learningProficiency in data analysis and reporting toolsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skillsExperience with videography, video editing, multimedia production, and use of AI software is a bonus
