Raytheon is seeking a Manager, Legal, Contracts, and Compliance, Legal Operations responsible for establishing and maintaining matters in Legal Tracker (the RTX legal matter management system), engaging with outside counsel and Raytheon attorneys, supporting legal incurred cost audits, and managing other legal/financial transactions and other activities as needed. The Manager will work independently with minimal supervision and be able to influence LCC leaders to effectively drive change. **What You Will Do** + Manage Raytheon legal matters in Legal Tracker to include the creation and closure of matters, approving invoices as the billing guidelines reviewer, monitoring spend to ensure matter is within budget, ensuring correct accounting codes are applied, ensuring necessary documentation is uploaded for each matter, and collecting and reporting metrics + Manage the engagement process with Outside Counsel to include assisting attorneys with the negotiation of terms, engagement letter drafting and finalization, and acting as liaison to provide guidance through the signature cycle, ensuring compliance with RTX Outside Counsel Engagement Standards + Support DCAA Legal Incurred Cost audits by providing responses to Requests for Information to Raytheon Government Accounting and collaborating with Raytheon LCC Government Contracts Compliance on response content + Manage the process for selecting the best value outside counsel law firm based on solicited proposals using the Request for Proposal (RFP) process + Provide usage analysis of all Raytheon retainer matters to managing attorneys and LCC leaders + Manage the legal settlement payment process to ensure settlement payments are received in a timely and accurate manner + Provide onboarding to Raytheon attorneys regarding the use of Legal Tracker, RTX outside counsel engagement standards, memberships/subscriptions, etc. + Be the CORE focal for the Legal organization + Expect to travel 10% of your time **Qualifications You Must Have** + ​Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience providing legal operations support in a defense-aerospace corporate environment or an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years’ experience + Experience creating legal matters in matter management system, reviewing invoices for accuracy prior to processing, providing DCAA/DCMA audit support, monitoring legal matter spending to ensure budget does not overrun, handling legal financial transactions, leading legal change management efforts, providing contract negotiation, oversight and reporting of legal memberships / subscriptions, and/or providing guidance on legal operations processes to attorneys + Experience in execution and support of legal matter management andoutside counsel engagement **Qualifications We Prefer** + CORE experience/certification + Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with various levels of RTX and Raytheon leadership and to collaborate with business and digital technology personnel + Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and to look at the big picture of organizational needs and investigate opportunities through innovation to accomplish goals + Strong written and verbal skills + Strong work ethic, a sense of accountability, and interest in the subject matter **What We Offer** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
