As a Manager, Learning & Training supporting the Training & Development Team, in Fort Worth, TX you will be primarily responsible for enhancing organizational and personnel capabilities to achieve business goals and strategic objectives. You will drive learning initiatives, implement the Learning Management System, and manage budget. In this role, a typical day will include:
Provide learning capabilities to enhance organizational and personnel capabilitiesAssist Learning partners in implementing key learning processes and initiativesMaintain processes for the end-to-end learning processLead the implementation of the organization's Learning Management SystemPlan and manage budgetary considerations, including preparing, reviewing, and tracking the learning budgetDesign and deliver training programs for all employee levels, including developing assessments, tests, workplace aids, and e-learning programsConduct training classes and develop evaluation criteria for training effectivenessDevelop in-house programs to identify developmental needs and prepare employees for more responsible positionsStay updated on training and development research, including learning and motivation theories, and new materials, methods, and techniquesEvaluate and supervise contractors or vendors for training program development and administrationCollaborate with teams to execute learning and capacity-building objectivesProvide guidance on training requirements related to commercial processes.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs)5 Years of Relevant ExperienceThe ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.Travel Requirements: up to 10%HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:
