Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Lead Power BI Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with deep hands-on experience in data modelling, complex DAX, and building scalable dashboards to support the Commercial function. This role will play a crucial part in translating business needs into technical solutions, working with multiple data sources—including APIs—to deliver actionable insights for commercial planning, reporting, and strategy.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to Finance stakeholders.
• Build robust data models within Power BI, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
• Write and optimize complex DAX expressions for KPIs, measures, and calculated columns.
• Integrate and transform data from diverse source systems (databases, cloud platforms, APIs, flat files, etc.).
• Collaborate with Finance business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance in all reporting assets.
• Enable self-service analytics by developing reusable datasets and templates.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to best practices in BI development.
• Document technical solutions and provide end-user training when needed. Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• 7 Years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer.
• Strong expertise in Power BI data modelling, Power Query (M), and DAX.
• Experience working with Commercial departments, ideally within the Pharma/Life Science space.
• Experience integrating data from various source systems, including APIs, SQL databases, cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks).
• Strong understanding of data governance, performance tuning, and access/security considerations.
• Experience with version control and deployment processes in BI environments is a plus.
• Proven team management experience with 10 headcount
• End to end project management experience including effort estimation, project plan design, milestones definition, stakeholder communication and successful hand-over to client.
• Strong communication skill with client negotiation and presentation competencies.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks.
• Exposure to Python or R for data preparation (optional).
• Experience working in Agile teams and using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
