Primary Responsibility

\n

Prepares test plan, test strategy.

\n\n Participates in the preparation of test conditions.\n Develops and tailors the test approach specific to each phase and/or functional area of the system/application.\n Responsible for the quality of testing deliverable.\n Publishes test reports/status.\n Manages the defect management process during the testing phase/effort.\n Manages the test team according to the schedule.\n Coordinates resolution of issues related to activities impacting the progress of testing.\n Suggests, creates, or adds test cases wherever applicable.\n Identifies optimization areas and roadmap.\n Participates in test status calls and other project discussions.\n Coordinates training for new employees.\n Performs other duties as assigned.\n Complies with all policies, procedures, and standards.\n\n

Secondary Responsibilities:

\n\n Develops Test Approach, Test Plan, Test Schedule, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases based on requirements\n Test case writing, test execution, defect logging, working with Development and BAs etc. \n Execute Test Cases and capture Test Results in Test Management Tool or client-specific format\n Documents issues/defects found in Defect Management Tool and follow up with Development team for the fix. Upon fix retest the functionality.\n Provide test execution summary/update to test lead.\n Participate in peer reviews, testing process improvements, and other testing related activities.\n Reviews the test cases created by test analysts, provide feedback or make changes where necessary.\n Analyzes requirements, coordinate with BA’s / Subject Matter Experts.\n Identifies test conditions and / or creates test cases.\n Conducts and/or participates in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.\n Creates / Conditions test data for test execution.\n Executes manual / automation tests according to the Test Plans.\n Documents test results and report defects.\n Evaluates test results.\n Retest, validate and close applicable issue type as appropriate.\n Validates release notes.\n Submits daily status report.\n Identifies and reports risks.\n Manages day to day implementation of Global testing services - test process.\n\n

Required Skill Set:

\n\n Experienced in testing Siebel CRM application, Web based application, GUI application, Self-Service Web, Mobile App application, and databases on multiple platforms and in multi-user environment\n Should have exposure to CI/CD and should have worked on Agile / Scalable Agile model with good exposure in implementing / integrating Continuous testing processes using Selenium or any other tool\n Intermediate knowledge of Unix / Linux commands, shell scripting\n Database knowledge to run DDL, DML, and other SQL commands\n Hands on experience in Tools: Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, JAMA, TFS, SharePoint, Putty, Selenium with JAVA, SQL Developer or PL/SQL Developer etc.\n\n

Experience:

\n\n Min 10 years of Testing experience \n 5 years of Test lead experience\n\n
