Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

Manage investment accounting functions and ensures it meets as well as comply with local and regulatory standards 

Review all investment activities including daily trade processing, SMF setup, cash matching, monthly prices update, investment holdings reconciliation processed in PAM.

Review / Prepare monthly vouchers on investment accounting areas

Prepare monthly RO/ management reports and supports a wide range of investment accounting and financial analysis activities across all investment asset classes including fixed income, equity, real estate, derivatives and other alternative investments. 

Prepare quarterly/annual investment schedules for submission to regulators, auditors etc.

Review and monitor control procedures on investment accounting functions

liaise with internal / external fund managers for information requested on investment reporting functions

Provides support to other teams or departments on business initiatives

Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned 

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree holder in Accounting / Finance or equivalentQualified Accountant with at least 7 years prior working experience of investment accounting within insurance companiesExperience in PAM and SAP system is an advantageProficient in MS Excel and Bloomberg; knowledge of Workiva, Tableau, CopilotStrong analytical, communication skills, with good business senseA good team player and able to work well with othersBe able to work independently and under pressureFluent in spoken and written English
