Reporting to the Vice President of Information Security, the Manager of Identity and Access is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and operations of the enterprise Identity and Access programs. This role ensures secure and efficient access to technology resources across the organization, aligning practices with business and compliance requirements. The Manager will oversee identity lifecycle management, access governance, privileged access management, and authentication services, while driving continuous improvement and innovation in capabilities.

Salary: Competitive range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year.  This range reflects the budgeted compensation for this role.  The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and location.Tuition Waiver: Enjoy a tuition waiver after 6 months of employment for you AND your immediate family offered at UTI and Concorde campusesPaid Time Off: Competitive paid time off programs for employees (Vacation, Sick, Flexible)Retirement Matching: 50% match on the first 6% of your contributions after 90 daysPaid Parental Leave: 4 weeks of paid leave for both birthing and non-birthing parents to bond with a new babyCompetitive Insurance: Health, vision, and dental coverage for you and your dependentsPet Insurance: Competitive coverage for your furry family members through ASPCAHealth Plan Enrollment: Eligibility starts first of the month following completing one full month of employment Responsibilities Develop and execute the Identity and Access (IA) strategy, roadmap, and policies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirementsLead the design, implementation, and maintenance of IA systems, including identity lifecycle, role-based access control (RBAC), single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA)Oversee the administration of user access provisioning and de-provisioning across all systems and applicationsCollaborate with business and IT teams during new system and application implementation to ensure appropriate IA controls are in placeManage privileged access management (PAM) solutions and enforce least privilege principlesConduct periodic access reviews, audits, and certifications to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulationsCollaborate with IT, HR, and business units to streamline IA processes and improve user experienceMonitor IAM systems for anomalies, threats, and performance issues; lead incident response for IAM-related security eventsDevelop and maintain IA metrics and reporting to demonstrate program effectiveness and support executive decision-makingLead and mentor a high-performing IA team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learningStay current with IA trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure the program remains effective and compliantEstablish/maintain a high performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metricsRecognizes and rewards employee contributions and achievementsOther duties as assigned Qualifications HS Diploma or GED (required) and five (5) years of experience in identity and access management; Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field (preferred)Minimum two (2) years of managerial experience in IAM or related security functions (required)Minimum five (5) years of experience with IAM technologies and frameworks (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk) (required)Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOX, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS (required)Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)Expert knowledge of IAM principles, technologies, and best practicesIndependently manage complex tasks and projectsCoach and mentor junior team membersAnalyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutionsPresent ideas in a compelling and structured format to diverse audiencesDemonstrate refined listening skills and emotional intelligenceFacilitate training sessions and cross-functional meetingsDrive consistent results in a fast-paced environmentLeverage enterprise-level tools and systems to streamline processesCreate new and better ways for the organization to succeedDevelop people to achieve their goals and support organizational successNavigate complex policies, processes, and organizational dynamics with easeOperate effectively in uncertainty and ambiguityWork independently, escalating complex or high-impact issuesDrive innovation to improve organizational successDevelop others to achieve individual and organizational goalsNavigate complex organizational dynamics with confidencePerform effectively amid uncertainty and ambiguity
