As the Customer Experience Design Manager, you will be a key driver in shaping a future where interactions are seamless, intuitive, and impactful. You will partner closely with the customer/business, empathize with the opportunity at hand, and play a key role in driving the outcome of projects in line with the 5D framework—Discover, Define, Diagnose, Design, and Deliver. You will lead a team dedicated to creating experiences that simplify and enhance daily interactions, resonating on a personal level and transforming the way our people engage with processes and technology.
**This role is hybrid and requires 3 days in the Dearborn, MI office.**
**What you'll do…**
+ Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of customer experience professionals in developing holistic, end-to-end experiences from ideation to implementation.
+ Execution Toolkit: Ensure the correct utilization of the program’s execution toolkit to guide program deliverables, instilling discipline, focus, and structure in project execution.
+ Future-State Focus: Lead the creation of current state process maps identifying pain points and work toward future states that deliver a more streamlined, engaging experience across all touchpoints.
+ Experience Design: Drive the design of intuitive, user-friendly processes by focusing on people, process, and technology, ensuring solutions align with current and future state process maps.
+ Enterprise Technology Integration: Collaborate with technology teams to leverage and maximize enterprise investments, such as HCM and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Life@Ford), to enhance the overall experience.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate design sprints with internal project teams and cross-functional partners to create end-to-end customer lifecycle improvements.
+ Research and Insight: Conduct and partner on qualitative research to understand user needs, translating insights (Visier and HCM Insights) into actionable strategies that inform, and guide experience improvements.
+ Prototyping and Testing: Prove out prototype concepts using design thinking methodologies to iterate and refine people, process and technology experiences that meet both business and customer needs.
+ Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives and lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery processes and outcomes.
+ Storytelling and Influence: Use compelling storytelling to communicate vision and gain buy-in from stakeholders, ensuring a shared commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
+ Mentorship and Development: Provide consulting and mentoring to the team, instilling human-centered design principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement as well as the team’s development and growth.
+ Advocacy: Serve as a champion for Shared Services as well as customers, advocating for solutions that align with enterprise objectives and the needs of the customer.
**You'll have…**
+ Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and/or commensurate work experience.
+ Minimum 5 years of work experience with a Master’s degree or 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, in HR Technology or a related field.

Work Requirements:
+ Involves occasional (defined as one-third or less of the time) lifting of no more than 10 pounds at a time. Work is performed primarily in a seated position and entails no significant stooping, standing, climbing, walking, etc. Many sedentary jobs require good use of the hands and fingers for repetitive hand-finger actions. Working conditions occur within low to moderate noise levels related to the use of standard office or classroom equipment.
