VERSANT is looking for a Manager, HR Operations Project Services to join their team! The Manager, HR Operations Project Services will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing a portfolio of HR Operations projects. This position requires strong communication, influencing and project management and change management skills. Also important is the ability to establish and maintain key relationships within business and technology groups, as well as interact with diverse stakeholders and partners.

What you’ll do:

Actively leads an assigned portfolio of projects from start to finish including, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure from an HR Operations perspectiveDefines and maintains project charters, objectives, schedules and scopeCreates project plans, including project deliverables, activities, dependencies and timelinesEstablishes plans for resourcing and funding projectsCreates and maintains deployment plans, change management plans, and support plansActs as a liaison between Technology and Business HRFacilitates communication between various stakeholders and collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to advise and ensure alignmentKeeps all stakeholders updated on project status and progress against agreed upon targetsDirects day-to-day activities of projects and staff in matrixed organizationEnsures milestones are successfully met through oversight of project and coordination of resourcesOversees testing strategy and testing cycles of new systems with the project teamManages changes to project scope and develops contingency plansAssesses, manages, resolves and escalates (if necessary) risks and issuesManages change management and communication plansEvaluates established success criteria to determine project successManages individual workload and delivers against agreed upon project milestonesAll other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience managing projects5+ years of experience with managing HR Initiatives and projects for of HR System

Desired Characteristics:

Certifications in HR and/or Project Management preferredPROSCI experience and/or Certification preferredAdvanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products and Project Management softwareSolid project management skills while managing multiple, concurrent projectsExcellent interpersonal skills and team skills, ability to communicate well with individuals, and in group settings, ability to communicate with diverse population and people from various backgrounds in a consultative mannerExceptional written and verbal communication, ability to make presentations to various groups Experience preparing project dashboards and status reports for stakeholders and senior leadersProven business analysis, requirements gathering and process engineering skillsSolid analytical, critical evaluation and problem-solving skillsExcellent conflict management skillsExceptional decision-making skills and ability to use professional judgmentHigh attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrates flexibility and adaptability in performing work dutiesHighly organized and ability to balance multiple assignments of competing priorities while managing to meet forecasted target datesStrategic thinker who can connect the dots and ask the right questions

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to work overtime when requiredMust be willing to travel for work related business if necessary

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the, Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
