What You Will Get To Do:

Coordinate overall work plan for US client service group accounting staff, which includes managing and monitoring work in progressProvide coaching, training and leadership as necessary to the client service teamReview all work product prepared by accounting staff including monitoring and pricing of P&L, NAV’s and economic allocationsContribute to internal project initiatives regarding new product development, testing and implementationManage client relationships and satisfactionEstablish a plan for new client setups, reorganizations and conversionsResolve fund accounting inquiries escalated to a supervisorProvide technical accounting/industry knowledge to our clientsCoordinate, manage and monitor the external audit processReview client financial statements, partner capital statements and other required financial reporting

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldMaster’s degree preferredCPA/CFA is a plus6+ years’ experience in Accounting or Back Office Operations working for a Fund Administrator, Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund or Investment Advisor3+ years’ experience supervising othersStrong knowledge of US GAAPPrior experience with various products including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, Mortgages and  optionsSolid knowledge of corporate actionsAdvanced MS Excel knowledgeAbility to work under pressure and manage tight internal and client deadlinesStrong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation abilities

NY: Salary range for the position: 85,000 USD to 155,000 USD.
