As a hardware development manager you will co-ordinate a team of design engineers and engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to develop and sustain new devices. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team, and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, design execution and board level bring-up and verification. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.




Key job responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering meetings.
- Dive into and take ownership for critical embedded software, electrical and mechanical design, DFM and DFT issues.
- Lead design reviews.
- Work closely with partner hardware operations and software development teams
- Assist with recruitment, management, development and maintenence of a world class system design team.

About the team
The team is a group of electrical, mechanical, embedded firmware, manufacturing, and manufacturing engineers who devise hardware that enables Just Walk Out shopping and Amazon One experiences.
