You will provide leadership and guidance to a skilled group of team members responsible for the production and implementation of remote VHF ground stations. You will also coordinate with supporting groups and business leaders to ensure the ARINC ACARS network remains operational.

 What You Will Do  

Provide leadership and professional development to your team  Accountability for estimating and executing the following implementation projects: Ground Station Expansions Ground Station Alternate Frequency  Ground Station Modernizations Ground Station Relocations Ground Station Performance Investigations Support team members by developing resolution strategies for complex projects Production Facility Supervisory Responsibility: investigate issues with builds & shipments, provide direction on builds Oversee the financial aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.  Responsibilities include creating budgets, monitoring expenses, analyzing financial data, and preparing reports for stakeholders.Liaison with business stakeholders to ensure expectations are met Assist in the annual 5 year Long Rang Plan (LRP) specific to VHF ground stations – helping to identify areas of coverage expansion and key technology refreshes needed for the long-term success of VHF preparation and management of project reports  Facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout the business Drive the creation of standard processes and contribute to continued improvement of procedures  Drive the creation of training and knowledge management documentation  Management of program priorities, schedules, and deliverables 

 Qualifications You Must Have  

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team Experience in data link communications   Prior experience in aviation systems

PMP certificationPrior leadership experience Proven experience in process improvementWell-developed interpersonal skills and able to influence stakeholders at an operational level Excellent oral and written communication skills and the desire to provide outstanding support to internal and external customers.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
