Manager, Government Compliance
**Title:** Manager, Government Compliance **Location:** United States-Illinois-Wood Dale **Job Number:** 17433 **Description:** The Manager, Government Compliance will serve as a key player to AAR Government Services, and its associated operating units, and the Worldwide Aviation Support Services operating segments, on all matters concerning effective compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other U.S. Government requirements. The Manager, Government Compliance, will work in tandem with the AAR CORP., Sr. Director of Government Compliance to plan and execute ongoing compliance activities, as well as special projects. The role includes coordinating and supporting activities extending throughout the entire government contracting process, from the bid and proposal phase through, contract execution and government reporting. **What you will be responsible for:** + Assessment, monitoring, and remediation of key government business systems, including accounting, estimating, procurement, MMAS, EVMS, and Government Property. + Provide hands on support to business units, in compilation and calculation of indirect rates, including incurred cost submissions, forward pricing rate proposals, and general dollar magnitude impacts associated with changes in cost accounting practices. + Regular updates and communications with AAR CORP. Sr. Director of Government Compliance to manage all compliance related matters at the business units. + Assist in annual review of cost accounting practices and update of business unit disclosure statements. + Identify, communicate, and implement opportunities to improve controls and operational processes + Act as subject matter expert to the assigned business units on all matters dealing with government compliance. + Periodic education and training of employees on matters of Government compliance. + Demonstrate a confident and well-developed communication style, both written and spoken, that establishes credibility and facilitates clear understanding of issues and influence change where appropriate. + Participate in a variety of special projects as assigned by management. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
