If you’re inspired by transparency, driven to make an impact, and eager to help foster community, we’d love to have you join us. **How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:** We are seeking a highly skilled Item Master Data Manager to join our dynamic team in the consumer products industry. This role is responsible for the management and governance of master data for finished goods, components, and packaging materials, to support business operations and decision-making. You will build and enhance processes, collaborate with and coach team members across departments and markets, and ultimately, be fully accountable for the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of item master data across systems. **Key Responsibilities:** + Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards. + Data Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of master data, including products, Bills of Material, purchasing contracts, and other critical data domains. + Collaboration: Work closely with global cross-functional teams to ensure data requirements are met and data-related issues are resolved + Data Quality: Monitor and improve data quality and completeness through regular audits, data cleansing, validation processes, and process improvements. + System Integration: Manage the integration of master data across various systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and consistency. + Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on data quality metrics, trends, and support business decision-making. + Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on data management best practices and tools. **As the Global Item Master, a typical day might include a mix of the following:** + Item maintenance, including managing work intake and completion timelines, soliciting input from team members for data needed to achieve item lifecycle milestones, performing item data updates, and ensuring requests are processed within SLAs and in compliance with internal controls + Leading or participating in projects which involve item master data, such as annual pricing updates, launch of new subsidiaries, large scale item re-design, or integration of a new distribution center + Championing Item Master best practices, including influencing the organization around design, attributes, product hierarchy, product lifecycle management, and giving visibility to gaps and risks + Creating and designing reports to ensure master data is meeting organizational requirements + Responding to inquiries from stakeholders, including auditors + Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager **The Details** **Location:** Fully remote **Hours:** Typical PDT business hours, some flexibility required to support international meetings **Physical requirements:** Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods of time **Travel requirements:** Up to 5%, may vary **What you’ll bring to the table:** + 5+ years of Master Data Management experience with a background in supply chain/manufacturing + 3+ Years as a Data Steward and/or engaged with Data Governance, including prior experience in merchandise hierarchy development and governance, including new item setup process + Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to envision item data flow across systems and operations + Extreme attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to develop queries to detect data deficiencies + Strong leadership presence, demonstrating ownership and accountability for results, while ensuring partners adhere to established internal processes and standards + Passion for process improvement, comfortable with iteration, with a successful record of bringing data integrity projects to completion **What can help you really stand out:** + Data Management experience in NetSuite and Oracle Planning Cloud + Design of item data work intake and publishing processes + Experience working globally with a focus on EU and Asia + Prior knowledge of personal care & beauty products **Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:** **_$100,000- $120,000 USD/annually_** _\#LI-TL1_ Paula’s Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
