You will lead, guide and mentor our Gas Turbine Project Engineering team, responsible for oversight of the design and implementation of control software for our customers while taking the unique opportunity to shape the future of this business, team, and solutions. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Leading the Gas Turbine Solutions software engineering activities and the assigned team and providing the necessary resources to successfully complete projects on time and within budget. Working closely with Project Management, Project Engineering and Installation/Commissioning groups to design, test and deliver expanded scope solutions. Expanding and developing controls engineering expertise to support the growth of the gas turbine business across North America Creating and improving standards to ensure quality, schedule consistency, and cost control in a dynamic market with reliable tools and processes. Working to build a close business relationship with gas turbine retrofit customers so that Emerson can increase business volume through repeat business while providing quality service and support to our customers. Consistently communicating with and visiting customers to develop knowledge of their needs and building a close business relationship upon which long-term success can be achieved. Supporting the financial, productivity and quality objectives of Emerson Power & Water Solutions Turbine Solutions group: sales volume, margin, customer satisfaction, on-time shipments, and high-quality startup and support services. Evaluating resources and recommending staffing levels and balancing support from the best cost resources. Work as a great teammate with other groups, both local and abroad, focusing on meeting Emerson Power & Water Solutions objectives, providing technical support, and sharing key resources.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical equivalent 10+ years of relevant work experience Demonstrated leadership and technical skills Prior experience with turbine controls Broad knowledge or project management and engineering principles Ability to travel up to 20% Legal authorization to work in the United State - sponsorship will not be provided for this position, now or in the futurePreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science preferred Prior experience with gas turbine technology and controls from various OEMs is a plus Prior experience with Ovation and/or other control systems is a plus Expert knowledge of application in the field of power plant control systems PE (Professional Engineer), PMP, or OV400 is a plus

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $136,000-195,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
