\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
\nThe Manager, Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) Sourcing – South Asia, will be responsible for the planning, organising, directing, and controlling of the procurement and supply management functions for all FF&E, Operating Supplies and Equipment (OS&E) sourcing as well as supporting pre-opening, for all Hilton managed and franchised properties located within the India Region (India, Nepal and Bangladesh), and any other countries or territories in the region which may come online.
\nYou will also ensure that the established level of quality products is purchased at the best value following total cost of ownership (TCO) principles, while adhering to Hilton brand standards, operating procedures, and working with the Asia Pacific (APAC) HSM support teams to achieve these aims.
\nMore specifically, you will:
\n\nWork independently in key areas of supplier management, product development, and program management for assigned categories\nSupport FF&E sourcing initiatives, including bidding, analysis, supplier negotiations, coordination of design reviews, and award recommendations\nDevelop cost effective, brand specific, FF&E package\nSupport product development through the review of product specifications, drawings and working with design teams and suppliers on value engineering\nEvaluate and recommend suppliers, including evaluating product quality, production capability, sales and support capabilities, and financial stability\nAct as a subject matter authority for the categories assigned and provide expertise and innovation to internal Hilton departments, including the development of brand standards\nSupervise and manage suppliers for quality, cost, and performance throughout the program life cycle, functioning as the point of contact for quality, performance, and supply chain issues\nDevelop programs for OS&E for hotel openings and support pre-opening teams\nAdopt and execute HSM strategies and procedures\nExecute spend analysis to drive strategic sourcing requirements, propose annual procurement plans for the region and work with key stakeholders to align objectives and gain buy in\nEffectively manage RFx / projects in a structured and organised fashion. Drive and/or participate in cross functional procurement initiatives which can add value to key stakeholders in operations or finance\nExecute Hilton and HSM procurement related brand and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities and commitments, with particular focus on ‘Customer Promise’ work\nCollaborate with HSM Centre of Excellence (COE) teams to ensure all procurement tools (such as BirchStreet, MBT Check, Smart Spend, CDAT and others) are implemented and maintained where possible to their full productivity\nMaintain best in class reporting process and resources that can contribute to strengthen interactions with Hilton leadership, stakeholders, and owner community\nMaintain records of supplier performance and hold meetings with key suppliers and stakeholders to address issues and to improve quality and delivery standards\nEffectively centralise and manage supplier contracts and product data, inclusive of catalogue content, product specifications, photographs and descriptions, pricing, and file retention\nCoordinate, conduct and participate in meetings and discussions between suppliers and/or supplier representatives and corporate staff concerning subjects other than normal price, delivery, or quality negotiations (i.e. value analysis or engineering, new methods, techniques, and processes)\nProvide pre-opening support to new hotels to ensure that brand standards are met and that hotels participate in HSM programmes, as required\nCollaborate with HSM colleagues on APAC initiatives\nMaintain a high customer service focus by approaching your job with the customers always in mind and being proactive in a timely manner towards their needs and requests of customers\nHave a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with colleagues\nBe motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge to improve your personal performance\nBe flexible, responding quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you\nMaintain high team focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals\nContribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational / environmental procedures in hotels\nPerform field visits and combine operational reviews of the purchasing function at regional and hotel-levels where necessary and implement new processes where appropriate\nActively promote the services and facilities of the Hilton hotels to stakeholders and suppliers of the hotels\nWHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

\n\nAssociate degree / college diploma or at least 6 years working experience within hospitality industry\nKnowledge of FF&E and OS&E categories and working knowledge of reading drawings\nExcellent numeracy and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel\nProficient in reading quotations, analysing bids, writing instructions for bidders, and communicating with co-workers and suppliers\nFull professional proficiency in the English language\nAbility to travel as required where a virtual method is not appropriate – potentially up to 40% in region\n\nIt would be useful if you have:
\n\nProcurement or Hospitality related Degree\nProven working experience as an FF&E Purchasing Manager in a hospitality environment with pre-opening support, active coordination with Architecture, Design & Construction (AD&C) team, as well as owner interaction\nHotel industry experience preferred\nProven working experience as National Procurement Manager\nMaster Supply Agreement development\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, IF, INDEX, MATCH, Pivot Tables, VBA, Macros, etc.)\n\nWHAT IT IS LIKE WORKING FOR HILTON
