About the role:
The Manager - WE FP&A is responsible for the preparation and analysis of accurate financial data (plans, forecasts, latest estimates, monthly reports etc.) and initial variance analysis & support as well as the resolution of ad-hoc requests and analysis on all financial aspects of the business. As a key member of the FP&A function, you will support strategic decision-making by delivering data-driven insights, enhancing forecasting capabilities, and contributing to a wide range of finance transformation initiatives. This position involves close collaboration with many internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
+ Create, consolidate, and present financial reports to management or other members of the finance function in order to support with business planning and business control within the organization
+ Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with various departments, being actively involved in the planning process
+ Develop analysis and management reports to support decision-making processes (e.g. KPI report, operations report, quarterly finance report)
+ Enhance dashboards and financial reports to increase transparency, drive accountability, and support data-driven decision-making at all levels.
+ Proactively investigate automation opportunities and coordinate their realization with IT from idea to go-live and testing
+ Identify and provide insights into movement between actuals, forecasts, prior year, latest estimates, and budget, along with supporting variance analyses
+ Support ad-hoc, time-sensitive analysis requirements
+ Present periodic performance result
+ Maintain compliance with processes and procedures, recommend corrective action when identified and maintain suitable records to demonstrate compliance
About you:
+ Degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Proficiency in English, both written and oral
+ 8+ years of experience in Controlling and/or FP&A and/or Reporting with obligatory accounting understanding
+ Experience in international corporate environments and matrix organizations would be considered a plus
+ Data analytics and reporting skills
+ Ability to connect financial reporting figures with business insights
+ Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools
+ Good operational knowledge of MS Office software with advanced Excel skills (Tables, Pivot Tables, lookups variants, thinkCell)
+ Experience with BI tools, SAP and Business Warehouse preferred
+ Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
+ Commitment towards objective and attention to detail
+ Eager to learn about the industry and the company
+ Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with stakeholders from different levels in the organization
+ Excellent team player, collaborative and prepared to go the extra mile to accomplish tasks
+ Leadership skills in managing people and networking with various stakeholders in the company
+ Highly analytical and capable of thinking conceptually, with good business acumen
+ Ability to work reliably and independently also under deadline pressure and with virtual teams
+ Diligent with strong work ethics
+ Capable of bringing system and process optimization and harmonization
