We are looking for an amazing Food and Beverage professional to fill this role, which is based at our Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge in Fairbanks, Alaska. The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations. This role involves managing the dining services, ensuring high standards of food quality and service, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. This role will work closely with the culinary team, dining staff, and other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food and beverage management, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
Manage all facets of the food and beverage operations of the hotel to meet guests' satisfaction. Assists in the menu development of the hotel. Monitor and track food quality and sales. Recommends strategies to increase revenue goals and guests' satisfaction. Complies with all management responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, objectives, and applicable government laws and regulations. Adhere to and enforce Health, Environment, Safety, Security (HESS) requirements. Adhere to and enforce Risk Advisory and Assurance Services (RAAS) requirements. Maintains accounting and inventory systems; actively manages and monitors orders, receiving, and warehouse operations within company guidelines. Analyzes and prepares reports and maintains records. Participates in the "Manager on Duty" program. Participates in the interviewing, hiring, and training of all hotel staff. Responsible for the supervision, performance management, salary administration, corrective action, and training of directly assigned personnel. Performs other duties as assignedRequirements
This position normally requires a professional level of knowledge in food and beverage services equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field. Demonstration of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement. This job normally requires five years of progressively responsible positions in restaurant or food and beverage management. Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is required. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Must have or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers card. Must have or be able to obtain an Alaska alcohol server card. Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized point of sales (POS) systems. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Proficient knowledge of food and beverage operations, budgeting, and cost control. Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments, management, and staff. Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including all company health and safety standards. The work is performed in an office environment during company established work hours and workdays.
