Position Summary This position spans both internal and external accounting and reporting for Energizer’s consolidated global financial results. This position would be responsible for ensuring the external filings of the 10Q/K are in compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting considerations as well as researching and documenting technical accounting considerations, as needed. Responsibilities Preparation and review of financial information and related disclosures related to 10Q/K filings Preparation of Audit Committee and Board of Directors presentations Research, evaluate, and preparation the documentation for technical accounting topics and address accounting policy questions. Technical accounting subject matter expert. Assistance with the accounting for acquisitions, leases, and other corporate accounting functions Review of the 10Q/10K and 8K filings within Wdesk as well as XBRL coordination with the Wdesk team Verifying all SEC disclosure requirements are addressed in external filings Oversee the accounting for the global pension plans and stock compensation as well as other corporate transactions such debt and equity, including the review of associated journal entries and account reconciliations Completion of annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment analysis Preparation of the earnings per share calculations Review of all aspects of FASB ASC adoptions and newly issued SEC guidance Research and document accounting topics as necessary Tracking and review of acquisition and restructuring related costs including consulting, severance and other costs incurred related to the projects Owner of the Company’s global lease accounting administration and policies Oversight of global statutory audits and coordination with outside auditors What we are looking for Bachelor’s Degree (4 year undergraduate) in Accounting or related field required, CPA Preferred 5 - 7 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including high proficiency with Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint, and Word Willingness to work in all aspects of U.S. GAAP and the various reporting requirements of public entities Ability to balance priorities, as well as maintaining a strict level of confidentiality Experience with SEC filings for public companies Making positive and proactive contributions to decision processes (e.g., suggesting alternatives and more effective/efficient ways to work through processes) Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize and present data in a concise and understandable manner Establishing and benchmarking best financial practices for shared learning Making information understandable to a broad audience - from other accountants to CFO Ability to prepare quality work under fast, high-pressure situations Self-starter that works well in a team environment Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes Wdesk experience Experience with SAP, Central Finance, and/or Group Reporting consolidations systems Come join us! Total Rewards Package The salary range for this position is USD $105,000.00/Yr. - USD $151,000.00/Yr. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
