The position entails oversight of general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls. The position is also responsible for preparing relevant information for management and/or external parties acting in compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and U.S. GAAP. **Responsabilidades Esenciales** • Alert the LAR Comptroller's Office to any irregularities, noncompliance, non-compliance, and current or potential problems related to financial systems, financial operations, financing plans, accounting, audits, budgets, and any other matters of financial interest or that could have or have financial implications. • Manage business risk and implement business processes that enable the business to operate effectively on a day-to-day basis. Provide financial and business ethics management to the company and periodic reporting on agreed-upon measures. Proactive in alerting the Comptroller of any significant variations and any factors that may impact the business, such as legislative changes. • Responsible for Credit and Collections, including the establishment of credit limits. • Responsible for the financial and legal analysis of cash utilization and local tax minimization strategies. • Treasury support for all international intercompany cash transfers. • Review local tax returns and coordinate with local tax advisors. • Actively participate, as a member of the IP Peru leadership team, in business decisions, strategic decisions, contingencies, and financial planning. This includes providing a critical assessment of inputs to the process. (Key Result: Profitable and growing business). • Provide value-added business analysis of IP Peru's business to provide high-impact guidance to the business on high-return initiatives and strategies. This includes assuming a leadership role and leading cross-functional teams to drive improved business performance. (Key Result: Profitable and growing business). • Provide financial analysis, support, and guidance to support the forecast, annual budget, and strategic plans. (Key Result: Meet or exceed the OI and OCF targets of the annual budget). • Provide analysis and support to drive the achievement of metrics. Meet or exceed the OI and OCF targets of the annual budget. • Preparation of a monthly financial analysis of what happened/will happen in the month/quarter/year with value-added commentary and analysis of what actions are being taken to manage risk and opportunities to achieve our planned performance. (Key Result: Profitable and growing business). • Provide coordinated support to ensure the necessary asset controls and safeguards and the efficient execution of financial activities, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and balance sheet reviews. (Key Result: Ensure we manage the business in an ethical and compliant manner). • Human Resources responsibilities include quarterly performance reviews and managing the development of coworkers through the VBLD 70/20/10 learning process to develop our staff. (Key Result: Provide a growth and succession plan for our key positions). • Continuously monitor and support asset management actions. Support and implement actions to maximize operating cash flow through the management of related matters, including inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, depreciation, capital expenditures, expenses, and profit. • Ensure adequate procedures are in place that comply with all aspects of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. **Requisitos del Puesto** • Experience in multinational companies or local businesses (major and locally relevant). • Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and have strong communication and customer service skills. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA, and/or MBA required. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, with experience in financial and general accounting in a manufacturing environment.
