Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an FF Medicaid Technology Manager to join our IT Development department!

 

The Technology Manager ensures the streamlined operation of the FFS Medicaid Technology team in alignment with the customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision; a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people's lives. This individual will plan, design, coordinate and align resources to support the daily activities of the team. The Manager will work closely with customers and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, support, and improve technical solutions for the FFS Medicaid. This position requires a demonstrated level of understanding and experience with complex transactional systems and system integration platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers providing clear direction, setting performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentCollaborate closely with product owners, product managers, business analysts, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful project executionOrganize, plan, and align resources based on customer prioritiesEnsure that software products meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practicesManage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, performance management, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actionsParticipate in strategic and operational planning for Medicaid FFS Program and Product technology, integration, and interoperabilityOversee all FFS Medicaid data interfaces and serve as the point of contact for all state FFS Medicaid technical relationshipsEnsure FFS Medicaid systems, modules and/or technologies are CMS MMIT or MEC certifiedOther duties as assigned Qualifications

Four-year college or university degree and/or a minimum of eight years of work experienceLeadership of a multi-disciplinary team is requiredDemonstrated experience leading a high performing teamDemonstrated experience with complex transactional systems and system integration platformsExperience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etcExperience building cloud-native applications in any primary public cloud provider: AWS, or Azure, or GPC Experience in AWS is a plusExperience with technical development, micro-services, and interoperability preferredExperience with CMS MMIT system or MEC modular certification preferredDemonstrated application of data privacy practices and lawsHealthcare industry practices and HIPAA knowledge preferredExtensive experience in human resource management principles, practices, and proceduresParticipate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
