The Facilities Management team enhances the employee experience by managing facility risks, aligning with customer expectations, and optimizing operational costs while ensuring safe and sustainable operations. As the Facility Manager, you will own overall accountability for driving Enterprise Facilities Management (EFM) capabilities within one assigned site facility while providing oversight of any facilities management outsourcing partners (including, but not limited to: Physical Plant Maintenance Group, Food Services, Security, Housekeeping, Mailroom, Pest Control, etc.). This position serves as a single point of accountability and will deliver a quality, safe, compliant, and productive workplace environment within a site, with a high-touch customer service orientation. As a lead facilities/maintenance operation, infrastructure management, space management, and onsite employee and business services at the site. **Key Responsibilities:** + Serve as primary point of contact engaging with site level business customer for facilities quality, safety, compliance, and performance. + Lead site relationship with outsourcing partners, JNJ functions, business customers and authorities. + Ensure compliance with external and internal requirements in alignment with EHS. + Serve as the Crisis Management Team lead. Implement and maintain business continuity plans. + Support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure management projects. + Attend and/or lead customer and Facilities Management governance forums. + Coordinate site inspections, as needed. Interact with and ensure compliance with all government regulatory bodies. + Identify and apply E&PS programs and methodologies and industry innovations to generate savings and optimize the site and business performance. + Review and share site-specific data to support regional and global metrics to enhancing performance and cultivate a continuous improvement mentality. + Responsible for championing and delivering FM Global Functions and E&PS critical initiatives within micro region. + Responsible for fiduciary and performance management oversight of operating and capital budgets. + Manage resources and influence team members to deliver on budget, quality, efficiency, and EHS requirements. + Ability to recognize and communicate emerging site issues to the business and to FM Leadership. **Qualifications** **Education:** + Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, Architecture, or similar concentration is required. **Experience and Skills:** **Required:** + Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience CRE/Facilities experience. + Knowledgeable in utility-based systems (chilled water, steam, compressed air, etc.) + Demonstrated knowledge in technical and business fields. + Documented success achieving project goals. + Strong record of local collaboration ensuring completion of projects. + Strong communication skills both written and oral. + Digital literacy, including solid understanding of MS Office suite. **Preferred:** + Budget/financial management skills. + Certification (e.g., MCR, SLCR, etc.) + Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical focus. + Ability to adapt emerging trends and industry innovations. + Ability to lead diverse teams through change and organizational transformation. + Pharmaceutical R&D experience. + Critical GMP/GLP regulated experience. **Other:** + Proficiency (oral & written) in the English language is required. + Ability to travel regularly between local sites is required. + Up to 10% of domestic or international may be required.
