As the Manager, Enterprise Shared Data Services, reporting to the Director, Enterprise Data Platform & Shared Data Services, you will lead the implementation, operation, and optimization of our Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance platforms. You’ll blend deep technical expertise with people leadership to deliver enterprise-wide master data capabilities aligned with strategic goals.

A Day in the Life

Own the solution design, delivery, and governance of Semarchy MDM and integrated data governance platforms (e.g., data catalog, data lineage, quality tools).Lead and mentor a team of engineers and stewards responsible for master data and reference data delivery across domains (e.g., clients, vehicles, suppliers).Design and evolve mastering rules, survivorship logic, workflows, and integration patterns in a federated data model.Oversee MDM platform operations, including data quality, SLA adherence, performance monitoring, and incident resolution.Collaborate across business, analytics, and IT teams to embed trusted data into enterprise analytics, regulatory reporting, and operational systems.Drive adoption of new MDM capabilities, including AI augmentations and automation opportunities.Manage vendor and contingent workforce to ensure platform reliability, incident resolution, and continuous improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.3–5 years of experience with Semarchy xDM or equivalent MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, TIBCO EBX).Hands-on experience with designing and configuring MDM solutions, including match/merge rules, data models, survivorship logic, and integration via APIs and batch processes.Proven background in data governance ecosystems (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Manta).Strong understanding of AWS and DevOps practices.Experience leading teams, including sprint planning and agile methodologies.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and tools like JIRA or Jenkins is a plus.

Knowledge and Competencies

Expertise in data governance, stewardship workflows, data quality, and metadata management.Technical proficiency with SQL, JSON, XML, and scripting for automation.Experience with platform tuning, monitoring, and incident management.Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Strategic mindset with continuous improvement orientationAbility to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive enterprise-wide initiatives.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $111,100 - $152,800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and market alignment. This range applies to candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
