This position will coordinate closely with the engineering managers for the business to prioritize work of their teams in alignment with the business objectives and strategic campaigns of the operations. As a Manager of Engineering Aftermarket, you are responsible for developing and maintaining resources with the capacity and capability to support our product development program for the aftermarket and through these resources provide specialist engineering support to the operations.
Your Role
You will collaborate with platform engineering leaders and product managers to establish and execute a strategy to manage the product portfolio.
Ensure product safety and regulatory compliance through implementation of rigorous design control procedures and protocols
Drive product standardization and component development
Play an active role to drive centralization of product engineering through clear definition and documentation
Identify and develop specialist engineering skills within the Aftermarket Engineering team and oversee an effective process
Manage the preparation of the planning to drive the management of Aftermarket Engineering capacity
Your profile
Bachelor or Master Degree in relevant field and 8-10 years relevant experience
You have work experience in a supervisory position over technical staff within the rotating equipment industry. Experience with mechanical seals and valves is a big advantage.
Demonstrated ability to apply technology to creatively solve problems and meet business and stakeholder needs
You can show concrete examples how you managed a strong team and internal relationships including a history of developing collaborative relationships
You have a perfect command of English, in spoken and written communication.
The ability to speak Dutch is a big advantage, the work location is Etten-Leur, NL.
Proven ability to adapt to changing organizational environment and business needs
You have work experience with geographically dispersed teams with culturally diverse membership
