The Senior DevOps Engineer will be a key enabler of that mission — architecting CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment workflows, and ensuring platform observability across our AWS, MuleSoft, and microservices landscape.

This role demands technical depth in cloud and automation along with a strategic mindset for cost optimization, system resilience, and continuous improvement.

Platform Reliability & Infrastructure as Code

Design and manage AWS infrastructure for microservices and MuleSoft workloads (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora, Redshift, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Databricks).

Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) to provision and manage environments consistently.

Containerization & Orchestration: Build, deploy, and maintain Docker containers and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed).

Monitoring & Logging: Set up and maintain observability stacks (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).

CI/CD & Release Automation

Own the enterprise CI/CD strategy using GitHub Actions for multi-stage builds, automated testing, security scans, and controlled deployments.

Automate deployments for backend microservices, MuleSoft APIs, and UI applications.

Introduce deployment strategies like blue-green, canary, and rolling updates.

Performance & Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Observability & Incident Response

Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

Define SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets with development teams.

Drive root cause analysis and remediation for production incidents.

Integrate security checks into pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container image scanning).

Enforce IAM best practices and least-privilege policies.

Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards.

Collaboration & Leadership

Partner with development, QA, and architecture teams to embed DevOps practices early in the lifecycle.

Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote a culture of automation-first and self-service tooling.

Contribute to DevOps standards, playbooks, and enterprise-wide best practices.

Qualifications

3+ year’s experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform operations.

Strong AWS expertise (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB, VPC design).

Proven track record in CI/CD pipeline design (GitHub Actions is must).
