Banking is a major growth opportunity for Schwab, and this role will help us accelerate growth in accounts, balances, checking primacy, and in deepening relationships that will deliver long-term positive outcomes for our clients and for Schwab. The Bank Deposit Product team is responsible for managing and growing Schwab Bank’s deposit products, including checking and savings accounts and CDs. The team is accountable for product strategy, product management, vendor management, product marketing, client communications, client experience enhancements, process improvement, and risk management.
**What you’ll do:**
The Manager will help support product management for our Bank Deposit products. This position is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director. The person in the position will have the opportunity to lead or serve as a subject matter expert on projects with cross-functional partners, including client-facing organizations (branch network, service centers), digital channels, marketing, operations, technology, legal and compliance.
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Be one of the firm’s subject matter experts on Schwab Bank deposit products
+ Foster a deep understanding of client needs and champion those needs across the company
+ Develop and deliver expertise on the regulatory and operational requirements of the products under their management
+ Maintain an understanding of the industry landscape and competitor offers regarding deposit products
+ Lead quantitative and qualitative information-gathering and analysis to identify insights, evaluate opportunities, and develop recommendations and a business case to support them
+ Design and execute tactical implementation plans in conjunction with key partners
+ Project management and execution with cross-functional partners
+ Support critical product management activities such as developing and maintaining internal and client-facing product sales and marketing information
+ Manage relationships with outside vendors and internal partners
**What you have**
+ Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years relevant experience (or equivalent) preferred
+ 5+ years in product management and project management preferred
+ Financial Services industry experience required
+ Bank deposit product experience preferred, including product marketing experience and competitive landscape knowledge
+ Experience in vendor management relationship preferred
+ Very strong attention to detail required, with the ability to work efficiently and make progress independently to meet tight deadlines
+ Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence and build consensus with diverse partners at all levels
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
+ Sound judgment and an ability to identify and manage trade-offs
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that vary in scope and complexity
+ Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment

CO Salary Range: USD $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 / Year
