Data Quality and Governance Manager (M1) – on-site (Warsaw) or remote (Poland)

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Governance Manager to join our JLL Technologies organization, focused on delivering solutions for our corporate clients. This role will lead a team of Data Governance Business Partners across the EMEA region, providing both subject matter expertise and people management leadership to maintain high standards of data governance services for our accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance Leadership & Account Management

Coordinate and continuously improve the Data Governance Advisory offering in EMEA, adapting to changing business requirementsSupport Sales and advisors in preparing Data Governance proposals for new clientsBuild and maintain relationships with accounts and clients, monitoring their satisfaction with Data Governance servicesCollect feedback and case studies from accounts and share them with platform-wide Data Ownership to strengthen Data Governance and Data Quality support across the business lineIdentify similar challenges across accounts and implement proven solutions from other accounts, including those from other regionsEnsure consistent approach to data quality practices across accountsProvide subject matter expertise support to team members and assist in account/client communications when needed

Strategic Collaboration

Collaborate closely with APAC and AMER regional peers on knowledge sharing and global offering enhancementContribute to team development through innovative ideas, documentation templates, and other materials for Data Governance Business PartnersMonitor team members' work and provide guidance to keep projects on track

People Management

Set regional goals for the entire team and individual team members, supporting them in achieving these objectivesDevelop personalized growth plans for team members based on their individual potential and client allocation needsStrengthen collaboration between Data Governance Business Partners to support their development, team integration, and sense of belongingFoster a safe, supportive work environment that encourages ambitious performanceHold team members accountable for achieving goals, demonstrating executive presence, and continuously improving serviceManage the team administratively

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

10+ years of data governance / data management related experience in an enterprise environment across multiple application systems and business functions,Proven experience in team leadership or coordination, with strong communication skills and talent management capabilitiesStrong experience in client relationship management, including excellent listening and consultative capability, the ability to influence and negotiate with business and technology partners to drive change, and the ability to take a broad perspective and make key connections,Experience in change management and business analytics,Superior consulting abilities, including efficient adaptation of communication to the recipient and the ability to select relevant information,Attitude of professional ownership, responsibility and engagement,Familiarity with database management processes,High level of attention to detail,Ability to make effective decisions and solve problems,Knowledge of data lifecycle and maintenance processes,Good understanding of data quality management (processes and concepts),Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes,Control, compliance, audit, risk management and relevant experience in risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation will be helpful,Demonstrated ability to balance long-term strategy with quick wins,Demonstrated ability for strategic influencing and education of cross-functional stakeholders about the strategic importance and value of data governance,Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the overall information and analytics space,Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills; strong negotiation and group facilitation skills; ability to move a process forward, while meeting the needs of a variety of clients,Ability to articulate issues and resolutions in business-friendly communication,Ability to tell a story to explain or sell a concept,Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SQL and MS Visio. Flexibility and eager learning of new technologies.
