What is the opportunity?
Working within the Enterprise Finance team you will be looking at Data Governance, automation and process improvement opportunities across CFO group. The role will involve working with the CFO business to understand critical data elements and supporting key processes in order to ensure data integrity. You will be supporting CFO Center of Expertise in Data Management and Governance.
What will you do?
Analyze processes, gather requirements, look for solutions to improve and see through the implementation of these solutionsAssist in the identification and monitoring of Data Quality and Data Management related issues to ensure Finance CDE’s are being managed appropriatelyEstablish and continuously enhance subject matter expertise in data risk management and governanceInterpret data using careful business-grounded logic and analytics techniques to test controls, find exceptions, and discover insights and trends.Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current processesEnsure all Finance data domain issues are identified, logged, managed and escalated as needed to get to a resolution in a timely mannerWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Strong Microsoft Excel quantitative, financial and analytical skillsStrong soft skillsStrong organizational, written (Email/PowerPoint) and interpersonal communication skills are essentialAbility to learn Data Governance and Management toolsCreative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environmentNice-to-have
VBA knowledge and experience or any other programming languageAbility to develop PowerPointData Management and Governance domain knowledgePrevious experience working in a financial environmentWhat’s in it for you?
