Job Description:At Regions, the Data and Analytics Manager leads a team of analysts responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling and analysis. This role will drive strategy by presenting data-driven insights to executive and non-technical audiences.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages the processes of modifying and transforming data into a format that is valuable, readable, and presentableLeads and executes cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to discover insights that will drive strategic decisions and efficienciesPrepares information and makes presentations to various audiences including executives, senior and mid-level managers and associatesManages the design and delivery of reports that analyze business functions, key operations and performance metrics, and trends impacting the company to determine appropriate actionOversees the requests process for data analysis through tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.Identifies trends and seeks opportunities for continuous improvementPerforms general management duties which includes recruiting, training, developing and supervising analyst-level employeesThis job is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and six (6) years of experience in a data analytics or related roleOr Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in a data analytics or related rolePreferences
Prior experience in a supervisory/management rolePrior experience utilizing analytical software such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Statistical Analysis System (SAS), SAS Enterprise Miner, and applicable Microsoft Office applicationsAdvanced knowledge of business intelligence software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)Skills and Competencies

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
