What is the opportunity? 

Manager, IGA CUSO Governance is primarily responsible for (1) oversight on intragroup engagements for RBC CUSO; (2) ensuring that the governance related to RBC outsourcing arrangements (Internal Standards & Regulatory Requirements) is respected; (3) ensuring the effective monitoring of all RBC US CUSO outsourcing arrangements; and (4) supporting the development, implementation, and management of supplier relationships in order to help manage risks and regulatory compliance of RBCUS CUSO’ IGA relationships. The Manager, IGA CUSO Governance acts primarily as a consultant to the business leaders to monitor supplier performance and close gaps and ensure compliance with the supplier management program.  The Manager will work in a global team environment and with various RBC US CUSO stakeholders throughout the supplier management lifecycle to ensure compliance of the Intragroup supplier services within the RBC Framework, corporate policies and regulatory requirements (global and local).

What will you do?

Developing and maintaining policies, programs and processes for validating against requirements and ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulations.Identifying and addressing potential areas of vulnerability and risk; developing resolution plans and preventive measures.Conducting investigation activities on complex compliance issues and proposing possible solutions.Assisting in establishing and maintaining the relationship with regulatory agencies; responding to their requests.

Risk Management

Support the implementation of RBC’s third party risk management policy and supporting standards intragroup relationships, executing to the requirements and regulations for suppliers specific to the geography.Support engagement owners with the supplier risk management assessment process by acting as a subject matter expert to ensure risks associated with the arrangement and service are fully assessed and documented in the supplier risk system.Provide effective challenge and oversight on activities performed by the 1st Line of Defense throughout the third party life-cycle. As a subject matter expert, identify issues or gaps and raise improvement opportunities to engagement owners or other stakeholders, where possible.

Relationship Management

Ensure that the governance related to RBC outsourcing arrangements (Internal Standards & Regulatory Requirements) is respected.Builds strong and trusted partnerships with business leaders and suppliers facilitating interaction, monitoring customer satisfaction and driving continuous improvement initiatives to deliver valueEnsure the compliance of arrangements with the Enterprise Policy on Third Party and Intra-Group Service Providers. In order to support this activity, and ensure the compliance with local regulations at the time of the on boarding and also as continuous follow-up. Will support the internal stakeholders in order to respect and deploy the applicable documentation and processes (SRMA, Exit Strategy, SLA, IS, …).

Reporting, Analytics, Market Intelligence

Stay informed of changes in the regulatory landscape and participate in regulatory change discussions across the lines of defense, as needed.
