**Position Purpose:** The Manager - Investigations Research will lead a team of specialists dedicated to gathering, analyzing, and distributing information related to fraudulent activities both within and outside The Home Depot. This role collaborates closely with departments such as Customer Solutions, Legal, Asset Protection, Corporate Compliance, Internal Audit, Merchandising, Vendor Management Office, and Cybersecurity. The Manager will also serve as a primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies at the federal, state, and local levels, facilitating requests and building effective partnerships. Additionally, this position supports case development and works in coordination with Corporate Security Investigators as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** + 65% Acquisition and analysis of public source information, acquisition and analysis of business records (including CCTV and transactional data), interview of witnesses and subjects, and the conduct of other lawful investigative techniques. + 15% Analysis of travel security risks for executive travel, provision of threat analysis briefs, and alerting other department members of conditions that may impact safety and security. May be directed to actively assist in Executive Protection and Special Event + 15% Monitoring of international travel itineraries, analysis of travel security risk for international travel, provision of threat analysis briefs, and alerting associates of conditions that may impact their safety and security while traveling. + 5% Other investigative duties as assigned **Direct Manager/Direct Reports:** + This position reports to Senior Manager Corporate Security. + This position has 0 direct reports. **Travel Requirements:** + Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time. **Physical Requirements:** + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
