We are looking for a creative and highly organized professional to join our team as Manager, Events and Communications. This role will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing colleague events and communication strategies that align with our company’s goals. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously and can communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Management
Lead the end-to-end planning, organization, and execution of colleague events such as corporate townhalls, mid-year and year-end celebrations, AMAs, fireside chats, leadership conferences, offsites, and more.Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors, venues, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.Develop creative concepts and themes that align with company objectives and brand identity.Create and coordinate scripts, show flows, and content briefs for events, including drafting, stakeholder reviews, and rehearsals.Manage internal stakeholder support for events (e.g., IT, HR, media, marketing, volunteers, and finance).Oversee event budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions.Handle event administration, including drafting and submitting ICPs, maintaining Smartsheet reports, and other required documentation.Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement.Coordinate post-event photos, videos, and promotional content for internal (MFCentral, MFTV) and external channels.Support regional and global events held in or broadcast to the Vietnam market.Communications Strategy
Develop and implement communication plans to promote colleague events, both before and after.Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of messaging and engagement.Team Collaboration and Leadership
Work closely with the Head of Communications and the Corporate Communications team to support media and corporate events.Contribute to the team’s creative needs and support broader communication initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the main point of contact for all event-related inquiries and communications.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and cross-functional partners such as Procurement, Compliance, Risk, and HR.Ensure clear and consistent communication and reporting before, during, and after each event.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management and corporate communications.Demonstrated success in planning and delivering impactful events and communication strategies.Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and in collaboration with teams.Creative, proactive, and self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative tools, and familiarity with event management platforms and social media.Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.When you join our team
